I just got a very expensive pair of binoculars out of storage and the rubber exterior has a lot of oxidation. What can I use to effectively clean it and renovate the material? Would moisturizing lotion work? What about something like WD40, or Armor-All? Thanks.

Specially a person. I would be about 300 ft from person. I would also be high in a tree. I would like the binoculars to show a clear picture even though there may be open blinds, or transparent curtains in the way of the person. Also this may be at night. There will be light around the person I am watching. It is important that I see very small details with the binoculars?

Say with a 30×80mm or 50×100 lens binoculars and a very steady hand is it possible to see any kind of detail of the space station or satelites as they pass overhead?
Cdn, I can see Jupiter with the naked eye as well. Wondering if I can see detail with binoculars.
As in detail I mean the general shape and maybe see the solar arrays.
