Question by missmex: How do you binoculars scientifically work?
Like why do they need so many internal lenses, etc. You know...Why we don't see upside down in them? Sorry I may just be blabbing. It has to involve light technology in with binoculars. Thanks. Best answer gets 10 points! :D

Binoculars have two 45 degree prisms in each barrel that reflect the light (four reflections) in such a way that the inverted image is upright. The reflection occurs via total internal reflection due to the 45 degree angle of the prism.
