Lol, I missed that point…
Regardless of the history of optics industries of Germany and Japan, the image of the Nikon SE binoculars is considered by many birders to be the best, bar none. The roofs, be they from Europe or Asia, are still playing catch up with the SE in the image quality department more than 10 years after the SE’s were introduced. If Nikon can put the SE image in a waterproof compact roof configuration, I don’t see why they can’t price them close to the European alphas.
I believe this is an ED glass bino, which costs close to $2,000. I think I’d go for Pentax ED instead. I recently got Pentax 10×50 SP series, which is very nice actually, made in Japan, too. Still, my favorite are the 7×50 Fujinon FTMR-SX, and 10×50 FTM-SX.
I still Bushnell is better. This guy doesn’t sound like a country boy while the people from Bushnell do.
its Nikon dude
N eye Kawn
is an 10×50 binoculars good or bad
I’m sure they are great binocs, Nikon has copied the Swaovski’s EL’s in nearly every regard with the EDG. The least they could do is offer them for less money.
Please correct pronounce Nikon correctly as “Knee Con”
before Japan was civilized. … not a historian then ?
for dat i wud get a short tube telescope lmao
what would be the best thing for looking at my neigbors breasts covertly ?
What a joke. For the money, you can get Zeiss Victory’s, arguably the best binoculars on the market. Nikon has always operated on the basis of offering good value. They cannot compete with the German manufacturers who have been in the business of making optics before Japan was civilized.
Zoom out, press minus sign until the zooming stops. Actually, when you turn on the camera, the lens is set to its widest angle by default.
