You can buy cheap binoculars at your grocery store. Keep your receipt - if they are out of alignment (stars are doubled), take them back. Cheap binoculars differ from good binoculars mostly in how sturdy they are, rather than optical quality. So if you're very careful, you can use cheap ones.
